Why Mirae

Many virtual try-ons begin after a frame has already been chosen. Mirae is being designed to begin one step earlier: help a person decide which frame directions are worth exploring and explain the visual reasoning behind them.

The aim is not to produce more choice. It is to turn a crowded catalog into a smaller, more understandable starting point while leaving personal taste with the user.

Product principles

Mirae’s current product direction is personal without being prescriptive, explanatory rather than score-driven, and explicit about uncertainty. Recommendations should be possible to understand, question, and ignore.

• Describe planned behavior as planned until it is released.
• Separate visual styling from physical and optical fit.
• Ask for camera permission and publish final data handling before release.
• Avoid identity, medical, and universal appearance claims.

Mirae is a product of Predella Studio. Predella Studio is identified as the publisher of this website and the controller of the current email waitlist.

Current status

Mirae is in development as an iPhone-first experience. No release date, App Store listing, public performance result, or claim of guaranteed fit has been announced.

As the product becomes testable, this site should publish dated demonstrations, evaluation methods, observed limitations, and changes. Until then, the site’s descriptions are product direction rather than evidence of released functionality.
