How Mirae is intended to work.
Mirae is an upcoming iPhone experience intended to help people narrow an eyewear direction before deciding what to try. The product is still in development. This page describes the planned experience, not released or independently validated functionality.
01
1. Begin with permission
The planned experience starts only after the user chooses to use the camera. Mirae is intended to assess visible proportions such as face length, cheekbone width, forehead, and jawline for the current styling session.
That temporary styling profile is intended to support frame exploration. It is not intended to identify a person, verify identity, diagnose a condition, or create an optical prescription.
02
2. Turn proportions into a direction
Mirae is being designed to compare visible proportions with frame geometry and visual balance. Rather than returning a single score or a rule, the planned output is a shortlist of directions with context for why each shape may be worth exploring.
Personal style remains the user’s decision. A recommendation is intended to be a considered starting point, not a judgment about what someone should wear.
03
3. Compare appearance in context
The planned AI-assisted preview is intended to place selected frames in a live camera view and follow face position and orientation. Its purpose is to compare shape, color, and silhouette on the user’s face.
A visual preview cannot confirm bridge fit, temple length, pupillary distance, lens centration, prescription compatibility, comfort, or medical suitability. Those questions require real measurements and, where appropriate, an optician.

What is decided—and what is not
Mirae is planned as an iPhone-first visual styling aid. It will not be presented as an optical measurement or medical service. No release date has been announced.
The production recommendation behavior, camera-processing architecture, evaluation results, supported devices, and complete application privacy terms are not yet published. Mirae will update its public documentation when those details are final and reviewable.
